i re-installed windows not with the orignal disk, cause my computer was bugging. anyways when i try to get on the internet it says

“Windows could not detect any wired of wireless netowrk cards installed on your machine. If you are connecting to the internet through your phone line using a dial_up connection you will need to contact your Inetnet Service Provider. Otherwise please make sure that the network card drivers are installed properly or contact the manufacture of your personal computer for further assistance”

im guessing its the Network card driver or something to do with network adapters dont know not a ComputerWizz someone please help me!

im using windowsXP Professional Gateway model GT5058 AMD Athelonx2 Nvidia 6100
yeah i went to www.gateway.com

and downloaded everything my computer desktop had on drivers , cause i have the original serial code.

but my internet doesnt work on that computer.So im guessing its network card driver but, on the site theres tons of em and i dont know which one is right for my computer.

i put this in my computer and vista can’t find the drivers. the cd it came with is no use, all it installs is an icon for Atheros.

what i need is a driver for this card, i’ve tried a few but none of them seem to be compatible and i was just wondering if anybody else knew.

I have windows xp and when i was installing the disk i had to skip over the drivers in order to actually put the program on the hard drive now i need to get on the internet using my phone line(dial up) and i can’t because it hasn’t loaded the driver.
all I know is the brand of modem it is and it’s a conexant.
