i cant find a free sound driver or any drivers to dl in my computer…i reinstalled windows xp in my emachine and it erased all my drivers..i can connect to the internet via a router but not directly from the modem…please help if anyone knows how to restore my drivers

all I know is the brand of modem it is and it’s a conexant.
