I had to use the system recovery disc and now need the driver for the network card.I have installed the recommended driver but it still does not work. According to the spec its meant to be a ‘g’ rated card but it connected far better than i would have expected and i am sure I read it was an ‘n’ rated card.
I have an advent 4213 that is meant to be identical but even copying the driver onto a flashdrive and installing it does not work.

I recently formated my computer. The computer says i need it, I already wento to compaq.com and I downloaded the lan driver, but it says something a wireless network card driver not present. Besides the light on the lan is not lighting up.
