Hi my laptop detects my router and even shows that it has a very strong signal but the problem is when i try to connect an error message comes up which says that it cannot connect because i am out of range. Also, my network key is 8 characters whereas the WEP that it only accepts are 5 and 13 characters or something like that.I recently downloaded a wireless client manager for my laptop and it suggests that there it detects a wireless card but no wireless network card driver.

My laptop (more correctly notebook) is a toshiba satellite pro 6000 the network card is ‘Toshiba Wireless LAN mini PCI card’ it is already installed but the problem is it just wont connect to my router.

Please can you help me out, i am losing all hope i have searched the web for about two weeks now and no luck, someone put me out of my misery!
